As I just got the brand-new Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business card at the end of June, I may be one of a few people who have already used the card’s $100 semi-annual giftcards.com credit twice already. Below is an overview of the credit and how long it takes to post to your account.

What is the giftcards.com credit on the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business card?

The Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business card comes with a $100 semi-annual giftcards.com credit. With the credit, you get $50 to use from January-June and another $50 from July-December.

How to use the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business giftcards.com credit

Using the credit is straight forward — simply visit https://giftcards.com/reservebusiness, select which gift card you’d like to get, and pay for it using your Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business card. In both June and July, I used my card to get a $50 DoorDash gift card for myself, which I had delivered to my e-mail address. Below are some of the gift cards currently available on giftcards.com/reservebusiness:

  • Bloomin’ Brands Restaurant Group
  • Bloomingdale’s
  • Chipotle Mexican Grill
  • Darden® Restaurants
  • DoorDash
  • Fandango Gift Card
  • Macy’s
  • Topgolf
  • Wayfair

While your mileage may vary, the giftcards.com $50 credit posted to my account within a day for me both times.

Overall, I was very impressed with how quickly it posted both times and it’s definitely a credit that I’ll easily use twice a year.

Bottom line

The Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business giftcards.com $100 credit comes in two semi-annual $50 credits which are easy to use. Once you purchase the gift cards, the credit should post quickly to you account (though if you have a different experience, let me and other readers know in the comments!).

  1. Like you I charged the $50 at the end of June but the charge – and the $50 credit – shows July 01. Any idea if the credit counts towards the first or second half of the year?

    1. Not sure! Did you try to buy a gift card in July? If I were in your shoes, I’d try (worst-case scenario, you have a gift card you can use). If you do try, let me know how it goes!
