If you have an Atmos Rewards Ascent Visa Signature card (formerly the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card), you may want to check your mail — I just received an offer to earn up to 6,000 extra Atmos points between now and October 31, 2025.
I can only speak to the offer I got but, basically, by scanning the QR code on the letter, I’ll earn the following on $2,000 worth of purchases between when I active the offer and October 31st:
- 6x points on eligible purchases with Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines (normally 3x points)
- 4x points on gas, EV, charging station, cable, streaming, and local transit purchases (normally 2x)
- 2x points on all other purchases (normally 1x)
If you were to spend the full $2,000 on eligible Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines flights, you’d earn 12,000 points instead of 6,000 points. Since I don’t have any flights I need to book with Alaska or Hawaiian coming up but I still want to take advantage of the offer, I’ll use the card to put a $2,000 tax bill on it and earn 4,000 points instead of 2,000 points.
One thing to note is that, per the offer, after you register, you should wait a day to make any purchases (otherwise, Atmos says the purchase may not qualify for the offer). To be safe, I’m going to wait two days to make the purchase.
