Hilton announced plans to open nine new hotels in Morocco over the next few years. The expansion will almost double Hilton’s presence in Morocco, as currently there are 10 Hilton portfolio hotels in the country. Below are the planned hotels and anticipated opening dates:
- DoubleTree by Hilton Casablanca City Centre (end of 2024)
- Waldorf Astoria Rabat Salé (2025)
- LXR Hotels & Resorts – Casablanca (2025)
- Hampton by Hilton Ben Guerir (2025)
- Curio Collection by Hilton – Rabat (2026)
- Curio Collection by Hilton – Casablanca (2026)
- Hilton Rabat (2026)
- Hilton Garden Inn Casablanca City Centre (2026)
- Hampton by Hilton Fes Golf (2027)

Bottom line
As a Hilton Diamond member, I’m always glad to see the hotel’s footprint expanding. While I doubt I’ll visit any of these hotels anytime soon after opening, it’s always nice to have options!
